The Walk-In considers the reality of "making it" in the culinary industry. Chef Elle Simone Scott explores the unheard stories of the food world’s difference makers. What really happens between their first day and overnight success? A lot—but it's rarely discussed beyond a small circle of trusted friends. Unfiltered and unexpected, The Walk-In has the conversations you won’t hear anywhere else. A production of America’s Test Kitchen.

Customer Reviews
Elle Simone Scott is stellar
It’s clear her background on social work makes her an outstanding and natural interviewer. Hearing an already amazing person teach me names in food world is why I keep coming back for more episodes.
Food and the soul
Excellent, not only speaks about food but, the persons experiences, their life, their journey.
Very insightful.
Phenomenal interviews and memorable guests!
I have really enjoyed each interview Elle has hosted and produced since the launch of The Walk-In podcast. The stories are a glimpse into many talented food culinarians and food historians in the industry. My favorite podcast to date is with Dr. Jessica B. Harris because she has such a wealth of information about food stories about some of the most important figures in African American culture. I can’t wait to listen to more episodes!
