My "coated" roaster was chipping little bits of black in everything, and the other one warped when I tried to make gravy, so, time for a new roaster! Chose this based on Cuisinart, no coating on the pan or the rack, and the price was manageable without a second mortgage.
This roaster has made my life so much easier! One roaster for everything. Works on my oval stove burner for gravy & pan sauce - no warping. Heavy enough to hold its shape, but not too heavy to lift, even with a huge bird. The handles are substantial, wide and high enough to let you use oven mitts. Once all is done, we pop it in the dishwasher, it comes out shining, both it and the rack. Saves me hand scrubbing as I had to do previously. Makes me very happy!
