Small Appliances
GE Profile Opal 2.0 Nugget Ice Maker
Sale Price: $429 (28% off of $599)
Our favorite nugget ice maker is heavily discounted for Prime Day. It was one of the most efficient models we tested, producing 1.5 pounds of crisp, clean-tasting nugget ice per hour. It was a breeze to install and set up, thanks to a number of user-friendly design features, such as the thoughtfully designed side tank, touch-sensitive buttons, and bright LED light bars that communicated the machine’s status clearly. It was heavy and bulky, so be sure to take measurements of your counter before purchase. Read our review.
Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro
Sale Price: $319.95 (20% off of $399.95)
Our favorite air-fryer smart oven is on sale for a limited time this Prime Day. We liked the intuitive controls, clearly labeled knobs, and the digital interface that clearly displayed the time, temperature, and cooking setting. It made excellent toast; broiled up tender, nicely browned asparagus; made beautifully golden roasted chicken; and air-fried french fries and chicken Parmesan that were just as good as the same recipes made in our favorite conventional air fryers. Read our review.
Hamilton Beach Temp Tracker 6 Quart Slow Cooker
Sale Price: $69.99 (26% off of $94.95)
Every dish we made in this slow cooker emerged deeply flavorful and perfectly cooked. Its simple controls made it very easy to set temperature and time and to monitor progress; an attached temperature probe let us know exactly when our food was done. Its temperature climbed very slowly and gradually, cooking foods more gently than other models in our testing. Its “hold temp” feature lets you set a desired temperature and cooking time to use the cooker as a fondue pot, to reheat leftovers, or to make yogurt. Read our review.
Breville Bambino Plus Espresso Machine
Sale Price: $399.95 (20% off of $499.95)
If you’re in the market for a compact espresso machine that doesn’t take up too much space, this is our top pick. It’s basically our winner, the Breville Barista Express (which is also on sale) but without the grinder. We enjoyed the automatic milk frothing, which even lets you choose the temperature and texture of the steamed milk. Read our review.
Instant Vortex Plus ClearCook + OdorErase 6-Quart Air Fryer
Sale Price: $90.95 (38% off of $159.99)
This is a great price on our “Upgrade Pick”–winning air fryer. The ClearCook has the same spacious interior, convenient preheating cycle, and stellar cooking ability as our more basic winner. This model is quieter and has a viewing window to monitor cooking progress and a control panel that’s easy to use and wipe clean. Just like our favorite model, it cooks frozen foods, hearty proteins, and vegetables quickly and to perfection. Read our review.
Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 XL Pro Air Fry Oven
Sale Price: $229.99 (23% off of $299.99)
This is a great option if you’re in the market for an air-fryer toaster oven. This model was a close second to our winner. It offers an array of functions, including air frying, broiling, and toasting. Its digital controls are intuitive and straightforward, with a display that lights up to clearly show the time elapsed. It excelled at toasting bread to different doneness levels, broiling asparagus, and roasting chicken. We recommend this model for those who have room in their kitchens and are looking for a great multipurpose appliance. Read our review.
The Best Air-Fryer Toaster Ovens
Air-fryer toaster ovens can air-fry and toast—and do a whole lot more besides. Which is best?
Read Our ReviewCosori Dual Blaze 6.8-Quart Smart Air Fryer
Sale Price: $152.99 (15% off of $179.99)
This model was a close second to our two winning air fryers, both from the Instant Vortex line. With an additional heating element, the Cosori tended to cook even faster than our top models, though it didn’t fit quite as much food, despite being larger in size. We liked its simple digital controls and thought the smart-home compatibility was mostly helpful. Both of our winners are less expensive, even when not on sale (and one is discounted right now too!). We’d suggest them over this model, but it does a great job. Read our review.
KitchenAid Classic Series 4.5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer
Sale Price: $299.95 (25% off of $349.99)
This mixer’s across-the-board performance knocked out many competitors that were bigger and much more costly. From whipping billowy egg whites to kneading a double batch of pizza dough, it capably tackled every mixing job. It’s a great mixer on sale for a great price. Read our review.
Chef’sChoice Trizor 15XV Knife Sharpener
Sale Price: $115.99 (30% off of $165.99)
Our top-rated sharpener for 15-degree knives had the winning combination of producing truly exceptional and consistent results quickly, neatly, and efficiently. The manual clearly outlined a few specific steps that must be followed each time, and it took about 2 minutes from start to finish to get a polished, razor-sharp edge. Read our review.
KitchenAid 7 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer
Sale Price: $529.95 (18% off of $599.99)*
Using this stand mixer is a luxurious experience: In testing, it creamed butter and sugar to fluffy heaps, whipped up “smooth as silk” cake batter, and kneaded “gorgeous and elastic” bread dough with ease. We enjoyed the generous capacity; weighty stability; and big, uncoated stainless-steel attachments of this updated 7-quart model. Read our review.
*This model is 23% off ($499.99) in the color Matte Dried Rose.
Breville InFizz Fusion
Sale Price: $199.95 (20% off of $249.95)
One of our favorite premium soda makers is on sale. Named our upgrade pick, this machine is handsome, durable, and easy to use. We found this machine’s range of carbonation to be truly impressive; it allowed us to make soda that was gently fizzy or aggressively bubbly—and a whole lot in between. It’s relatively quiet, and Breville’s proprietary carbonation cap allows you to carbonate juice, wine, or almost any other clear liquid. Read our review.
OXO Brew 8-Cup Coffee Maker
Sale Price: $142.49 (29% off of $199.95)
We appreciated this coffee maker’s compact design and user-friendly features that seemed to be designed for maximum convenience. The manual provided useful guidance for first timers, with clear language on the oh-so-important water-to-coffee amounts, using the gold standard ratio from the SCA. The coffee was a bit milder than our winner’s, but we still think it’s a good deal. Read our review.
KitchenAid 5 Ultra Power Speed Hand Mixer
Sale Price: $44.99 (25% off of $59.99)
We liked how easy and mess-free it was to make whipped cream and mix soft ingredients with this mixer. The simple slider also helped us adjust the speed. Although the mixer took a bit of time, it eventually powered through mixing hard ingredients such as oats and chocolate chips into stiff cookie dough. We especially liked how light it was, which made it easy to maneuver while mixing. For the discounted price (which is about half of our budget pick), we think it’s a good deal. Read our review.
Breville Joule Turbo Sous Vide
Sale Price: $199.95 (20% off of $249.95)
This top-of-the-line sous vide machine heats quickly and accurately and properly maintains temperatures over time. It’s also lightweight, durable, and easily attachable to all sorts of vessels. Controlling it was similarly simple; its app had a clear, user-friendly interface with lots of built-in recipes. Up your gourmet game with this restaurant-quality gadget. Read our review.
Braun MultiQuick 7 Hand Blender
Sale Price: $74.99 (32% off of $109.95)
An immersion blender is the perfect Prime Day score: something you may not have been considering buying yourself but that will make blending hot soups, individual smoothies, and even mayonnaise and salad dressings significantly easier and cleaner. We highly recommend this model from Braun. Though it’s a touch heavier than our winner, it was comfortable to grip and easy to control, and it performed consistently well throughout weeks of testing. Read our review.
IGLOO Premium Self-Cleaning Countertop Ice Maker
Sale Price: $75.99 (16% off of $89.99)
If your freezer’s ice maker isn’t cutting it (or you’re still using ice trays), a countertop ice machine could be a great addition to your kitchen. This model worked efficiently and had clear controls, and we loved how lightweight and portable it was—it also cleans itself! Read our review.
Balmuda the Toaster
Sale Price: $247.20 (20% off of $309.00)
We liked this sleek, handsome, and compact toaster oven, which performed one task exceptionally well. It makes excellent toast, tender on the inside and crisp and fairly evenly browned on the outside. (Tops usually browned slightly more than bottoms.) A steam function is responsible for the great texture of the toast. Overall, the machine is well-designed and very easy to use, with clearly labeled dials and the ability to increase or decrease cooking time while the machine is in use. Read our review.
Breville Barista Express
Sale Price: $549.95 (27% off $749.95)
If you’re ever on the fence about a fancy, home espresso setup, this may be your chance. Our favorite espresso machine is on sale for Prime Day. It’s easy enough for beginners to pull a shot from but also allows for maximum customization for those who like to tinker. A powerful boiler heats up water quickly, so you don’t have to wait, unlike with other models we tested. All in all, this is a great time to invest if you’re in the market; we see this selling out quickly. Read our review.
Vitamix 5200
Sale Price: $349.95 (30% off of $549.99)
Our longtime favorite blender is the best model we've ever tested—and we've compared countless models over the years. This quiet, high-powered blender has simple, intuitive controls. As for its blending capability, it's top-notch. It was able to produce fine-textured foods without incorporating excess air, thanks to its narrow blender jar. The tamper accessory was helpful when blending thicker foods, and the blender’s 7-year warranty insured our investment. It’s tall, at 20.25 inches, so it can’t be stored on a counter beneath a standard 18-inch-tall cabinet, and its narrow jar made scraping out its contents a minor challenge. Read our review.
Breville Fresh & Furious
Sale Price: $159.95 (20% off of $199.95)
This blender is perfect if you’re looking for something in the midpriced range. It makes smoothies and almond butter that are just a touch less fine-textured than our top choice’s but still impressively smooth. It even has a dedicated “green smoothie” button that completely blends fibrous ingredients into a silky drink. It’s reasonably quiet and compact, and it combines ingredients efficiently, requiring only minimal pauses to scrape down the sides. Read the review.
Vitamix Explorian Series E310
Sale Price: $329.95 (13% off of $379.95)
This relatively quiet blender excelled at every task and has a simple-to-use control panel with straightforward options—a speed dial, an on/off button, and a pulse button. Because its jar holds only 6 cups, the blender is a bit less expensive than Vitamix’s flagship models, which all sport larger 8-cup capacities, but it’s still big enough to take on full recipes. (The jar of this model is also a little wider than our winning blender, so it makes smoothies that are a touch more aerated but still excellent overall.) Read the review.
Nutribullet Personal Blender
Sale Price: $44.99 (24% off of $57.96)
This affordable model is not only good at blending up ingredients for smoothies but also handy for whipping up salad dressings. Its simple twist-to-start mechanism doesn’t require you to hold down a button to blend, so you can walk away while blending. The travel lid permits leak-free transportation and on-the-go sipping. Read our review.
Technivorm Moccamaster KBT
Sale Price: $227.13 (30% off of $339.00)
The reigning champion of our testing of drip coffee makers for years, this machine has remained our top pick and is now on sale at a great price and will likely sell out quickly. We liked how easy it was to set up and brew, but most importantly, it consistently brewed delicious coffee that won our tastebuds and hearts. It doesn’t have many bells and whistles that some newer coffee makers do, but we didn’t miss them. Read our review.
*This model is 28% off ($244.08) in the color Polished Silver.

Read Our ReviewCosori Air Fryer Pro LE
Sale Price: $79.87 (20% off of $99.99)
This top-rated air fryer is on sale but probably won’t be for long, as it has amassed a following thanks to its user-friendly interface and speedy cooking time. The capacity is a bit smaller than our winner, but for households of one to two, it’s great. Read our review.
Comfee’ Countertop Portable Dishwasher with 6L Built-in Water Tank
Sale Price: $270.51 (27% off of $369.99)
Our winning countertop dishwasher is compact and cleans dishes nicely, which makes it perfect for small spaces. Bonus—you don’t even need to attach it to a sink (though an included hose gives you that option). It’s easy to use and the door pops open to let dry the dishes, a useful feature. It holds place settings and flatware for two, so it’s best for smaller households. Read our review.
Instant Pot Pro 6Qt
Sale Price: $99.99 (41% off of $169.99)
This instant pot is smaller than our winning model but has the same great features. It does a great job of searing and steaming food, cooking rice, and even fermenting yogurt. If you’re looking for a multicooker that’s more compact and doesn’t take up as much space, this is a model that’s even more discounted than the bigger one. Read our review.
SodaStream Terra
Sale Price: $79.99 (47% off of $149.99)
This bundling of SodaStream products will give you our favorite soda maker plus CO2 canisters, plastic water bottles, and flavor drops. The machine is easy to use—at the push of a button, it will start carbonating the water. The plastic water bottles are easy to attach and the machine’s slim build also means it won’t crowd your counter space. Read our review.
Toshiba 6-Cup Rice Cooker with Fuzzy Logic
Sale Price: $104.99 (30% off of $149.99)
This rice cooker was a close second in our testing. The only reason it lost was the lack of stay-cool handles on its interior pot, a nice handling feature we enjoy on our winner. It made delicious, evenly cooked rice in all our tests. The light-colored measurement labels inside the dark-colored cooking bowl were easy to read. This timer began counting down when a cooking cycle started, and it beeped audibly when a cooking cycle ended. In our tests, this model kept cooked rice at a food-safe temperature for 12 hours. It’s a great option if you’d like a dedicated rice cooker. Read our review
Anova Precision Vacuum Sealer Pro
Sale Price: $96.25 (38% off of $154.99)
This top-rated vacuum sealer is a steal. It doesn’t take up a ton of space and can be stored easily. We were impressed with its performance, sealing all sorts of dry and wet foods tightly and keeping them fresher for longer. It’s easy to open and close; plus, the bag cutter inside helped us customize the size of the bag. Read our review.
Instant Pot Pro 8Qt
Sale Price: $139.99 (30% off of $199.99)
Our winning multicooker is easy to use and has a “favorites” feature that lets you save recipes. We liked that the unique pressure-release switch kept our hands away from the hot steam when it was time to vent during pressure cooking, and the steam dispersed more gently than with other multicookers. For anyone who’s in the market for a new multicooker, this is a great deal. Read our review.
Typhur Dome Air Fryer
Sale Price: $284.99 (43% off of $499.00)
This flat and wide air fryer has a heating element very close to the food, and in testing we noticed it crisped up french fries and chicken cutlets quickly and evenly. It has a generous capacity, enough to cook for four, and it was easy to get in there to turn the foods halfway through cooking, as is often called for in air-fryer recipes. We also liked the intuitive and responsive digital controls. Read our review.
T-Fal Ultimate EZ-Clean Fryer
Sale Price: $109.99 (31% off of $159.99)
This machine made perfectly crispy fried food. Because you program the temperature you want the oil to heat to, it takes some of the guesswork out of deep frying. A large basket held lots of food and made it easy to lower and lift the food; its high walls and lid contained messes nicely. While we didn’t love cleaning it, a built-in filter and handy oil storage container made the process easier. Like all of the electric deep fryers we tested, it maxes out around 374 degrees, so it can’t fry quick-cooking, high-heat foods such as tempura as nicely as a Dutch oven on the stovetop can. Read our review.
Cookware and Bakeware
Le Creuset 5.5 Quart Round Dutch Oven, Flame
Sale Price: $300.43 (28% off of $419.95)
Like our favorite highly recommended large Dutch oven (7.25 quart), this smaller pot’s light-colored interior and low, straight sides allowed us to easily monitor browning, and its large looped handles made it easy to move, even when filled with 4 pounds of short ribs. It had excellent heat retention, and French fries emerged golden brown and crispy. It rarely goes on sale. At such a steep discount (color Flame only), this Dutch oven is a steal. Read our review.
Lodge Porcelain Enamel on Cast Iron Dutch Oven, 7.5 Quart
Sale Price: $94.49 (21% off of $119.00)
This stalwart Dutch oven from Lodge was a solid performer throughout testing, with large, looped handles that were easy to grip and relatively low sides and a light interior that helped us monitor food. Right now it’s on sale for less than a quarter of the cost of our winner from Le Creuset; though it’s a bit heavier, it works nearly as well and will last for decades. Read our review.
Lodge 6 Quart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
Sale Price: $75.49 (24% off of $99.90)
This slightly smaller 6-quart Dutch oven is even more affordable than its 7.5-quart sibling (above) but has the same lower sides for easy access, lightly colored interior for good visibility while searing, and a durable enameled coating. Though it has a slightly smaller capacity, this pot is markedly lighter and easier to maneuver than the larger version, making it a fantastic choice for smaller households, at a fantastic price. Read our review.
USA Pan Half Sheet Baking Pan (Set of 2)
Sale Price: $29.99 (32% off of $43.99)
Our winning nonstick baking sheets produced evenly baked cookies and repelled even the stickiest foods—including caramel-covered popcorn—without issue, which made them especially easy to clean. Their durable nonstick coating held up well to rigorous testing and repeated washings. Read our review.
Tools and Small Gadgets
Yeti Hopper Flip 18 Soft Cooler (Sandstone Pink)
Sale Price: $225.00 (25% off of $300)
This cooler was a good size for toting to the beach, and it sported an easy-access flip-top. The insulation did a good job of keeping ice frozen. This model would be a fine choice if you’re planning for a few days off the grid. We were also pleasantly surprised by the zipper, which has a reputation for being difficult; we didn’t have too much trouble opening and closing it. Only the Sandstone Pink model is on sale. Read our review.
Yeti Tundra 45 Cooler (Sandstone Pink)
Sale Price: $243.75 (25% off of $325)
Our winning cooler outpaced every other model in cooling and durability; ice lasted a whole week. When we placed sodas and ice packs inside, the cooler kept our beverages below 50 degrees for more than five days. We also loved its rubber latches, which were easy to close, and its durable rope handles. Though you don’t have many color options, it’s still a great bargain. Read our review.
Chef’n FreshForce Citrus Juicer
Sale Price: $14.99 (40% off of $24.99)
Our longtime favorite manual citrus juicer just aced another round of testing. The large, easy-to-squeeze handles and spacious bowl helped it extract more juice than most other models we tested. Well-proportioned drainage slots dispensed juice tidily into cocktail shakers and measuring cups, holding back most of the seeds without clogging up the flow. Read our review.
ThermoWorks Thermapen ONE
Sale Price: $89.25 (22% off of $119.00)
If you ask us what’s the one piece of equipment that’ll instantly change your cooking, we would probably suggest an instant-read thermometer. The best ones are easy to use and give precise temperature readings quickly, so you won’t miss a beat whether you’re handling a pork roast or a fish fillet. Our favorite, the Thermapen ONE, does just that and it’s under $100 for Prime Day. Read our review.
The Best Instant-Read Thermometers
We've recommended a Thermapen for more than a decade, but there's new competition. Is it still the best digital food and meat thermometer?
Read Our ReviewFluke 62 Max Plus Infrared Thermometer
Sale Price: $129.55 (39% off of $213.99)
We highly recommend this industrial-grade infrared thermometer for folks interested in taking quick and simple surface temperature readings of pizza stones, grills, skillets, and more. It’s impressively accurate and has a user-friendly interface that allows for efficient operation—and at 39% off, we think it’s a steal. Read our review.
Zulay Kitchen Milk Boss Electric Milk Frother
Sale Price: $8.99 (50% off of $17.99)
This frother consistently made satisfying foam at the push of a button. It created the richest cold foam of the handheld bunch. Since it was our winner, we put it through additional testing, mixing up small batches of whipped cream, beating one or two eggs, and emulsifying vinaigrette. In addition to being a great milk frother, it’s a handy tool for small cooking tasks. We loved the comfortable grip, and we appreciated that it took little effort to rinse the wand clean. Read our review.
Pyrex Glass Measuring Cup Set (1-, 2-, 4-cup)
Sale Price: $20.70 (20% off of $25.99)
This set includes the 1-cup model that won our liquid measuring cup test along with the 2- and 4-cup sizes that are perfect for larger tasks or recipes. We love the accuracy and easy-to-read markings on these classic measuring cups. The handles, though small, are smooth and wide enough to be comfortable. We also liked that the glass resisted staining and was durable. Read the review
Drinkware
Espro P7 French Press
Sale Price: $119.96 (20% off of $149.95)
This luxurious steel press is designed with a variety of features aimed at removing as much sediment from coffee as possible, including dual basket-style nylon micro-mesh filters, a silicone gasket, and a silicone filter lid. It removed more grit than any other model we tested, and tasters found the coffee “superclean” and “smooth." We also liked this press’s solid, double-walled construction, which did an acceptable job at retaining heat. Read our review.
AeroPress Original Coffee Maker
Sale Price: $27.95 (30% off of $39.95)
This easy-to-use, no-frills coffee maker allowed beginners and brewmasters alike to make smooth, strong, and clean-tasting coffee. It’s great to keep on hand for reliably good coffee at the office or while traveling. Read our review.
Owala 40oz Tumbler
Sale Price: $27.98 (30% off of $39.99)
If you’ve yet to snag an insulated tumbler (or are looking for a new brand or color for your collection), this Owala model is a worthy choice. We liked the well-designed lid, which allowed us to easily toggle between sipping through a straw or directly from the cup. Testers found this tumbler comfortable to hold, not too heavy, and easy to drink from. Read our review.
Owala FreeSip Water Bottle
Sale Price: $25.49 (15% off of $29.99)
We love this water bottle’s innovative straw design, light weight, and cold retention abilities. The straw wasn’t like any of the other models in the lineup; the top of the straw was set into the bottle in such a way that it looked like a narrow lip. This bottle’s insulation matched our stainless-steel winner; water was still cold and fresh tasting after 8 hours. Its lid had a two-part locking system, which seemed excessive at first, but we quickly grew to like it. To open it, we pushed a small lever up and then pressed a button that popped the lid open. Read our review.
Cleaning and Storage
Black + Decker 20V MAX Cordless Pivot Vac
Sale Price: $59.99 (33% off of $89.99)
Our winning handheld vacuum has a powerful motor that easily collects pet hair, dust, grime, and dry kitchen messes. Its ingeniously designed pivoting nozzle opens like a book from its main body, allowing you to select many different cleaning angles and reach otherwise-impenetrable nooks. This model performed better than any other handvac we tested, and it stows easily in cars, under sinks, or near any other small, mess-prone areas that benefit from spot-cleaning at a moment’s notice. Read our review.
Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Liquid Dish Soap, Lemon Verbena
Sale Price: $10.39 (20% off of $12.99)
Prime Day is a great time to stock up on cleaning products. This dish soap performed well in our review and had no trouble breaking down food residue throughout testing. It's strongly perfumed with essential oils; some testers adored the lemony smell, noting that it smelled “very earthy in a fresh, springy way.” Read our review.
Method Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner
Sale Price: $15.77 (28% off of $21.96)
Antimicrobials, such as this spray, are helpful to have on hand when someone is sick or handling raw meat or eggs. They deliver maximum power that you don’t need for everyday maintenance cleaning. This spray from Method was the best antimicrobial cleaner we tested (Method’s All-Purpose Cleaner was our “best for most cleaning jobs” winner.) The antimicrobial version packs a powerful cleaning punch even though it uses citric acid, a gentler, more natural cleaning agent. It saturated and broke down every mess we tested it with and rarely left streaks or residue behind. The bottle is simply designed and easy to use, and the compact design fits into tight spaces well. Read our review.
Black + Decker Dustbuster Hand Vacuum
Sale Price: $55.74 (20% off of $69.99)
This handheld vacuum is powerful and light for its size. The large filter and a spacious collection bin can conveniently be accessed on either end. Though the long, narrow nozzle occasionally made it difficult to maneuver in tight spaces, it reached under cabinets and furniture remarkably well. The nozzle conveniently spun 360 degrees, allowing us to position it instead of straining at awkward angles to reach into tight spaces. Though this model didn't work quite as well as our winning handheld vacuum (which is also on sale!), it's slightly cheaper and is still a solid performer. Read our review.
